Cyberattack at Hawaii Medical Services Association

The Hawaiian Medical Services Association (HMSA) confirmed on Tuesday that their customer data was compromised in a cyberattack. The hackers targeted the company “Navvis” — a vendor partner of HMSA.

It is now believed personal data, including health and medical information were affected and includes both current and former HMSA members. The total number of members affected is still not known at this time.

Navvis said that they are in the process of notifying people potentially impacted and will be offering services such as free credit monitoring. Read more about this story on our LinkedIn page
