The defense minister refrained from commenting on the origin of the attack, stating that it is still in the initial stages of investigation. However, he mentioned that such attacks are typically driven by either economic motives, where a ransom is demanded, or political motives, where a state actor may be involved. At this point, it remains uncertain which of these motives applies to the current attack on Swedish government agencies. Read more about this story on our LinkedIn page
