McDonald’s Restaurants Affected by Global Outage

McDonald’s suffered a system outage on Friday that left customers in some parts of the world unable to order food. Many of their restaurants across the world had been forced to temporarily close as customers could not pay for food.

The issues were reported in Australia, New Zealand, China including Hong Kong, Japan, Canada, South Korea, Taiwan, Germany as well as in some cities in the US. The company spokesperson said that the issue is not related to a cybersecurity event.
