Shibarium, the official layer-2 blockchain of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, suffered a temporary network outage that impacted its performance over the weekend. There was a temporary Shibarium outage caused because of networking issues amongst the validators. Validators are entities responsible for confirming transactions on Shibarium and maintaining the network’s integrity.

The network is back up and running now though some services like Shibariumscan - the network’s official block explorer, and external RPCs (Remote Procedure Calls), are still experiencing downtime. Read more about this story on our LinkedIn page
