Cyberattack Forces Kansas City Traffic System Off

In Kansas City, a cyberattack had forced the city's traffic information system, known as KC Scout, to shut down all its systems as a protective measure. As a result, real-time cameras and information boards were not functioning on the weekend when all modes of severe weather, including potentially strong tornadoes, large hail, flash, and river flooding were possible.
