The telecommunication company Windstream's internet services were reported to be down in parts of North Carolina on Tuesday. Customers of the broadband supplier complained of "total blackout," in cities such as Sanford, Concord, Charlotte, and others.
On the Downdetector website, around 1,400 customers of Windstream reported facing issues with their connectivity. Among the user reports, 93 percent of people faced trouble while connecting to the internet service, 6 percent reported the situation as a total blackout, and the remaining 1 percent had phone connectivity issues.
