Cyberattack Renders Cleveland City Hall in Ohio Unable to Function

Cleveland City Hall in Ohio has shut down for residents as officials work to quell a cyberattack that has disrupted the city's system. Residents have been unable to access birth certificates, death certificates, building permits, and other services.

According to Cleveland officials, The Department of Information Technology Services (ITS) has managed to contain the threat and is actively working to restore full functionality to city systems and services. However, although the City Hall reopened Wednesday multiple challenges with technological systems left residents frustrated by the inconvenience.
