Worldwide Outage with Gmail

At around noon on Thursday, there was a worldwide outage reported with Gmail, the email service by Google. 82 percent of issues reported to DownDetector cited problems sending emails, while 15 percent cited server connection issues and a small three percent linked problems to the website.

Gmail is the most popular email provider globally - it is used in over 170 countries worldwide. Google's Workspace dashboard shows service disruptions for ChromeOS, Gmail, and Google Drive.
