For two hours on Tuesday, the British online bank Monzo experienced technical issues with its smartphone app. Thousands of its customers were unable to have full access to their bank accounts via the bank's app.
Irate customers took to venting on social media alleging that the customer support of Monzo was “non-existent", that their monetary transactions were on hold, bills were unable to be paid, credit card payments were held up and outbound bank transfers could not be processed.
