Law Enforcement Notified of Hannaford Cybersecurity Issue
Ahold Delhaize USA, the parent company of New England supermarket chain Hannaford is blaming a cybersecurity issue for an outage that is impacting some of its stores. The issue has affected its network across the country and law enforcement has been notified. When the matter was first detected, the company took some systems offline to assist with mitigating the issue. The glitch is making it difficult for Hannaford pharmacies to fill prescriptions and is also impacting their to-go grocery orders.
