Globally there were widespread reports of outages of the Microsoft 365 service services such as Exchange and Outlook. Microsoft posted a message on X that it is assessing "an issue impacting users attempting to access Exchange Online or functionality within Microsoft Teams calendar."
Reports of outages began at about 4 a.m. Eastern Time, according to DownDetector. By 10 a.m., there were about 2,000 reports from people saying they were having problems with Microsoft 365, the outage detection service said. That rose to as many as 5,000 reports by noon Eastern Time, before complaints on DownDetector began to reduce in the late afternoon. Read more about this story on our LinkedIn page
