Medical Group in Maryland Shuts Down Network Due to Ransomware Event
Frederick Health Medical Group in Maryland runs a hospital and provides a wide range of medical services in about two dozen facilities northwest of Baltimore and Washington, D.C. Recently Frederick Health had a ransomware event and immediately took its systems offline to contain the incident. They warned that there will be service delays, and a few medical appointments cancelled as it contends with the cyberattack.
