$32.8 Million Payout in ParkMobile App Data Breach Lawsuit
A settlement worth $32.8 million has been reached in a lawsuit relating to an unknown actor’s unauthorized access to the personal information of 20 million ParkMobile App users. The breach happened in March 2021, and a class action lawsuit was filed in Georgia federal court two months later.
According to the company, if a user has received a notification from ParkMobile about the 2021 Data Security Incident, the user is included in the Settlement as a "Settlement Class Member."
Individuals are eligible to receive compensation if either their personal information was compromised in the March 2021 ParkMobile data breach, or if they received a notice from ParkMobile about the data breach, or if they submitted a valid claim form by March 5, 2025.https://lnkd.in/eJ5xehQ7
