Europcar has announced that it has become the victim of a cybersecurity attack. The hack involved gaining access to their GitLab repositories, stealing the details of up to 200,000 customers across nearly 40 GB of leaked data.

In an attempt to extort Europcar, the hacker published screenshots showing stolen information. Europcar is now in the process of notifying both customers and law enforcement officials. Read more about this story on our LinkedIn page
