Steelmaker Nucor Halts Operations After Cyber Incident

Steelmaker Nucor has reported a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized third-party access to its IT systems. In an effort to mitigate the damages, the company has halted operations at multiple locations and has begun restarting them while investigating the breach.

Nucor has notified federal law enforcement and is taking affected systems offline, along with attempting to contain and recover from the issue, according to an SEC filing.
