Pokémon Center customers in the UK and Germany were notified that their orders were cancelled after a cyber-attack hit CEVA Logistics, the third-party provider used to ship Pokémon Center products in those markets. The breach reportedly began on July 30, 2026, and may have exposed customer names, delivery addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and order contents. The incident also affected Valve customers in Europe, showing how one logistics-provider breach can ripple across multiple major brands and customer bases.
The customer impact is worse because this was not just a privacy notice — it directly disrupted fulfillment. Affected Pokémon Center customers were told their orders had been cancelled due to an “unforeseen fulfillment issue,” even though the underlying problem was a vendor cyber-attack. Some customers reported that cancelled items were now out of stock or would no longer arrive in time for birthdays, while support responses failed to clarify whether reordering was safe. For a high-demand brand already struggling with long queues, fast sellouts, and upcoming 30th Anniversary product demand, a logistics breach becomes a trust, inventory, customer experience, and revenue problem all at once.
