Truist Bank experienced a possible outage this week, with thousands of users reporting problems by 12:22 p.m. PT, according to Downdetector. Most complaints centered on the mobile application and login issues, meaning customers may have been unable to access accounts, check balances, transfer funds, pay bills, or complete time-sensitive banking tasks. For a major financial institution, even a partial mobile banking disruption can quickly become a customer trust and operational issue.
